Description
- Saxenda is administered as a subcutaneous injection once daily.
The dose is gradually increased weekly until an optimal dose of 3.0 mg is reached to minimize side effects.
The 3.0 mg is then taken until the end of treatment
- The recommended duration of Saxenda treatment is typically six months. However, if a patient reaches their goal weight before the six-month mark, they can discontinue the medication.
