Description
Pabrinex Intravenous High Potency, Concentrate for Solution for infusion provides additional vitamins B and C to correct deficiencies. This may be the case in instances such as in alcoholism, after infections, or after operations.
Pabrinex IV HP should only be administered by a qualified professional, by drip infusion into a vein, and should not be administered by any other route. The product comes in two ampoules, the contents of which are first diluted with either saline or 5% glucose solution and then given over a 30-minute period.
Pack Size: 6 pairs of 5ml ampoules
Each pair of ampoules to be used in treatment is labelled Pabrinex No 1 and Pabrinex No 2.
No 1, 5ml Ampoule Contains:
- Thiamine Hydrochloride – 250mg
- Riboflavin – 4mg
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride – 50mg
No 2, 5ml Ampoule Contains:
- Ascorbic Acid – 500mg
- Nicotinamide – 160mg
- Glucose (as monohydrate) – 1000mg
